Osaka

An experimental type face inspired by Osaka, Tokyo. A city with a high population and hundreds of tall even buildings.

These features inspired the font to resemble not only the city's architectural infrastructure, but by the visual aesthetic of the crowded streets. The organization of the city itself inspired the grid-like nature of the sharp-edged geometric typeface.

The letters go against the rules of Arabic typography and create something modern and unique. Strictly a display font.
